Monday and Tuesday November 20th & 21st, Monte Belmonte and his entourage of marchers, including anti-hunger action hero U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern, will once again walk from Springfield to Greenfield to raise money for The Food Bank of Western Mass.

Last year they raised over $211,000. Can you help them top that this year?

The March will begin at 7AM on Monday 11.21, starting at MLK Family Services in Springfield and will end in the mid-afternoon at the radio station, 15 Hampton Ave Northampton.

Day two will begin at 6AM right around the corner from the station at the office of Congressman McGovern on Pleasant Street and will end around 6PM at Magpie in Greenfield.

11am-2PM finish walking down Northampton Street to Northampton

2PM A rally at the Old Courthouse Lawn in celebration of Lavery Greenfield’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive for the Food Bank

6:00-8pm-Fundraising soiree at Union Station

Tuesday November 21

6 am: Pick up Congressman McGovern at his office on Pleasant St

7am: Route 9 Hadley near Mi Tierra

8 am: Whole Foods Hadley

9:15 am: Downtown Amherst

10:30 am: Amherst Survival Center

12:00 pm: Downtown Sunderland and lunch at Bridgeside Grille

1:15 pm: Pit Stop at Berkshire Brewing Company

2:30 pm-5:30pm: Route 5&10 north

5:30 or 6pm: Complete 26 mile trek at Magpie on Bank Row in Greenfield joined by Double Edge Theater
