“Old Cuban”

Put mint in a pint glass.  Slap it around a little.  (Don’t worry, it likes it.)
Add:
ice
1 1/2 oz Mt. Gay Rum
3/4 oz lime
3/4 oz simple syrup
dash or two Angostura Bitters
Shake!
Strain into coupe or martini glass
Garnish with mint
