Peskeompskut Day of Remembrance

David Brule, a native of Turners Falls and a Native American, is the president of The Nolumbeka Project. He tells us the story of the violent massacre which gave “Turners Falls” its name. Plus some of the lesser known history of what happened after the massacre. And on how the community can move forward and honor the indigenous heritage that is so rich surrounding Peskeompskut.
