Mourning The Connecticut River

First Light Power is in the process of relicensing its dams in Turners Falls and ?Northfield. Environmental activist and journalist Karl Meyer is not happy with how the license is goin. He’s holding an event on the Gill-Montague Bridge over the Connecticut River on  Saturday April 2nd from 11-1 where he is asking people to dress in black and mourn the river. Why is this John The Baptist voice in the wilderness so pessimistic? Listen to what he has to say to Monte in Monte’s literal backyard.
