On Tuesday October 8th over 100 River listeners hopped on the new Amtrak Valley Flyer rail service from Greenfield to New Haven Connecticut. But we renamed it the #LakeStreetLoveTrain for the day because one of our favorite bands with local roots, Lake Street Dive, said they would do a free lunchtime concert for us if we would do something about our carbon footprint and ride the rails to come see them in Connecticut. Hear hightlights from the train and from the lobby of College Street Music Hall, where they gave an electrifying performance for us that was completely unelectrified.
