Burping Cows And The Seaweed That Might Save Us From Them

Hampshire grad and Montague resident Josh Goldman is the CEO of Australis, a Baramundi fish farm that has roots in Turners Falls but currently does all it’s work in Vietnam. And now it’s setting it’s sites towards growing the seaweed that could save the world from burping cows. Monte talked with Josh in Vietnam.

Josh adds that they are growing “the Greener Grazing seaweed on our ocean based barramundi farms, when we fallow the sites in a crop rotation cycle.”

Perhaps the best way you can support their project is to buy Australis Barramundi at Whole Foods, Market Basket, BJ’s, Hannaford, and some of our other local markets
