Downtown Amherst is throwing a party so big they have to close the streets! The Amherst Block Party. A playground for all ages. Half a mile of food, fun and music. Wednesday, October 4, 5 to 9 pm, rain or shine, from the center of town to Kendrick Park. 25 restaurants serving in the streets. Circus performers. Basketball, martial arts and gymnastics demos.
