Join the River crew for Source 2 Sea on September 27th!

Ever notice how much trash ends up in our local waterways? Maybe you want to do something about it, but you don’t know where to start?

THE SOURCE TO SEA CLEANUP IS HERE!

This September marks the 29th annual Source To Sea Cleanup, when local communities team up on a mission to carry out as much trash as possible from waterways up and down the Pioneer Valley. It’s all made possible by the Connecticut River Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to clean water, healthy habitats, and resilient communities throughout the Connecticut River watershed.

WANT TO JOIN THE WRSI RIVER CLEANUP CREW? We’re heading to the Meadows in Northampton with the First Hampshire District Team and folks from Pedal People Cooperative on Saturday, Sept. 27th from 10 AM to noon. We’ll have a dumpster ready on site and plenty of parking. COME ALONG WITH US!

NOTE: The actual cleanup location is down by the river at the intersection of Webb’s Hollow Road and Middle Meadow Roads. We’ll be heading down there at 10 AM on Saturday – just head straight down Old Ferry Road and keep going past the municipal airport until you find us – here’s the Google Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jSmBcJfzSuR7vnbk9

Get your gloves and trash bags ready and join thousands of volunteers today!

Join your friends and neighbors at a clean-up site near you the weekend of September 26th through 28th – or start your own at a time and place that works for you! Can’t make it in person? DONATE to help support the year-round work of keeping our waterways safe, clean, and healthy.
