Springfield to Greenfield, MA
Benefiting The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

Each November, Monte Belmonte holds his annual Monte’s March against hunger through the Pioneer Valley. For those two days, Monte, Congressman Jim McGovern, Food Bank Executive Director Andrew Morehouse and a number of supporters, push empty shopping carts 43 miles from Springfield to Greenfield to raise awareness about and funds to prevent hunger in our region. Listeners are encouraged to make donations to benefit The Food Bank’s mission.

This year, our goal is to raise $365,000 — the equivalent of 4,000 meals per day for a whole year!

To ensure the safety of participants and our community, we are limiting the number of people who can March with Monte in 2020.

Two members from the Top 5 fundraising teams will be invited to March. Participants will be chosen based on fundraising totals on November 18th.

Even if you are not in the Top 5, WE WANT YOU TO MARCH on NOVEMEBER 23rd and 24th WHEREVER YOU MAY BE THOSE DAYS!

The first step to your first steps on The March are to START OR JOIN A TEAM HERE
