Michael Sokol talks with reggae historian, Bob Marley archivist, and counterculture icon Roger Steffens. Steffens takes us on a tour of the seven rooms in his Los Angeles home that contain the world’s largest archives of Bob Marley’s life and music. We talk about what it was like going on tour with Marley and the power of his music today. We also discuss Steffens’ photographs that range from his time in Marrakesh after the Vietnam War to the California counterculture of the 70s to shots of Fela Kuti and Hunter S. Thompson.
