Meet award-winning, New York Times best-selling local hero authors Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple at Book Bus this Saturday! Hear a story, bring a book to be signed. Clean out your bookshelves and mark your calendar – Saturday, September 10th is the Book Bus! We’re collecting used and new books of any kind (with a special emphasis on children’s books) for Reader to Reader, the Amherst-based nonprofit that helps increase literacy by getting books to underfunded schools, libraries in low-income communities and Native American reservations.

The Book Bus is located in River’s parking lot, 15 Hampton Ave., downtown Northampton. Hours are 11am-1pm. Bring books and you’ll be entered in a raffle to win a family four-pack to Six Flags! Plus music, treats, and special appearances from local hero and New York Times best-selling author Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Heidi Stemple and more.
