The Book Bus returns to The River’s parking lot on April 26th!
Stop by 15 Hampton Avenue in Northampton, MA from 10 AM to 1 PM to donate used and new books for young readers here in the Pioneer Valley.

Clean out your bookshelves and mark your calendar – Saturday, April 26th from 10 AM to 1 PM is the Book Bus! We’re collecting used and new children’s and young adult books for Reader to Reader, the Amherst-based nonprofit that helps increase literacy by getting books to underfunded schools, libraries in low-income communities and Native American reservations. We’ve gathered THOUSANDS of books for them over the last few years – let’s keep going!

Can’t make it on the 26th? Stop by UMass 5 Federal Credit Union‘s Northampton branch (225 King Street) or their Hadley branch (200 Westgate Center Drive) and drop off your books early by Friday, April 25th!

Bring a book, a bag of books, bring a whole library – we want as many books for readers ages K-12 as we can get (no encyclopedias, please)! Please do try to bring them in a grocery bag or box that you don’t want back, so we can easily load and unload them.

The Book Bus is located in River’s parking lot, 15 Hampton Ave., downtown Northampton. Hours are 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, April 26th.

Thanks to our sponsors for making the Book Bus possible!
