Ever notice how much trash ends up in our local waterways? Maybe you want to do something about it, but you don’t know where to start?
THE SOURCE TO SEA CLEANUP IS HERE!
This September marks the 28th annual Source To Sea Cleanup, when local communities team up on a mission to carry out as much trash as possible from waterways up and down the Pioneer Valley. It’s all made possible by the Connecticut River Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to clean water, healthy habitats, and resilient communities throughout the Connecticut River watershed.
WANT TO JOIN THE WRSI RIVER CLEANUP CREW? We’re heading to the Meadows in Northampton with the First Hampshire District Team on Saturday, Sept. 28th at 11:30 AM. COME ALONG WITH US!
NOTE: The actual cleanup location is down by the river at the intersection of Webb’s Hollow Road and Middle Meadow Roads. We’ll be heading down there at 11:30 on Saturday – if you miss us, just head straight down Old Ferry Road and keep going until you find us – here’s the Google Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jSmBcJfzSuR7vnbk9
