This holiday season, even while we celebrate with friends and family, many of our neighbors have to go without nutritious, healthy food. Here in New England, our winter season is one of the most difficult to live through for individuals and families in need. That’s why the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger since 1982.

This year, the River joins many other individual and organizations to support the work of the Food Bank with The 14th Annual March for the Food Bank: Monday and Tuesday, November 20th and 21st. Join hundreds of people – including former River host Monte Belmonte, Congressman Jim McGovern, and Food Bank Director Andrew Morehouse – on a 43-mile march from Springfield to Greenfield tapping into community-led power to end hunger.
