The Book Bus returns to The River’s parking lot on April 15th!
Stop by 15 Hampton Avenue in Northampton, MA from 10 AM to noon to donate used and new books for young readers here in the Pioneer Valley.

Clean out your bookshelves and mark your calendar – Saturday, April 15th from 10 AM to noon is the Book Bus! We’re collecting used and new children’s books for Reader to Reader, the Amherst-based nonprofit that helps increase literacy by getting books to underfunded schools, libraries in low-income communities and Native American reservations. We’ve gathered THOUSANDS of books for them over the last few years – let’s keep going! This year’s books are going to local kids in Springfield.

Bring a book, a bag of books, bring a whole library – we want as many books as we can get! New, used, all are welcome. Just bring them in a grocery bag or box that you don’t want back, please, so we can easily load and unload them.

The Book Bus is located in River’s parking lot, 15 Hampton Ave., downtown Northampton. Hours are 10AM to Noon on Saturday, April 15th.
