The legendary Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage has transformed this year into the Hot Chocolate Challenge, a series of activities anyone can do any time, now through December, to raise critical funds for Safe Passage, which offers community services include counseling, advocacy, peer support, shelter and legal services for survivors of abuse.

In the Hot Chocolate Challenge, you’ll earn points for running and walking. Or by taking an online yoga class. Or going for a hike or a bike ride on a beautiful fall day. Lift weights, swim, do jumping jacks or spend some time on a pogo stick. Just move your body, log your time on your page, and earn points for every minute of your activity.

For the next month, WHMP will produce a series of features we’re calling the Hot Choco-Challenge, include interviews with Hot Chocolate Challenge participants, Safe Passage Staff, and top fundraisers. We’ll post those interviews right here.

Please support Safe Passage by donating to WHMP News Director Denise Vozella’s fundraising team now, or start your own team and start raising funds too!

Presented with support from Whalen Insurance.
