Thank you for supporting the final Cancer Connection Camp Out!

It was a bittersweet final** Cancer Connection Camp Out February 26-27, as Monte and the campers endured cold, heavy rains overnight and Thursday morning, plus the nearly-endless noodling of the Grateful Dead both days. Talk about a Box of Rain!

When the jam ended and the rains abated we had raised over $72,000 for the Cancer Connection.

These funds will help so many people in our community facing cancer, and their families or caregivers. Cancer Connection provides the kind of support you don’t get from the medical profession. Support groups. Art therapy. Massage and other healing treatments. Cancer Connection treats the whole person, not just the disease.

Thank you so much for your support – it’s what makes Riverlutions like this possible.

**We’re ending the Camp Out because the ownership of the building is reverting to the Commonwealth and we’re pretty sure they won’t let us get up to these shenanigans on the lawn any more.
