Kenny Chesney donating sunglasses profits to charity

Country star Kenny Chesney is donating the proceeds from his new sunglasses line to an ocean conservation organization.

The “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems” hitmaker teamed up with executives at the Costa brand earlier this year to launch his own eyewear collection, and he’s handing over a share of the profits to aid the Coastal Conservation Association.

His contributions will help to cover the costs to build two man-made reefs and place them in St. John’s River in Jacksonville, Fla., to create a fish habitat.

The singer says, “The ecological balance is very delicate, especially in Florida, so I am honored to help them achieve this goal.”
