Country singer Carrie Underwood has been forced to apologize to her neighbors after setting off a fire alarm while cooking.

The “Before He Cheats” hitmaker caused chaos in her kitchen as she attempted to make a meal for her sports star husband Mike Fisher on Saturday.

The singer took to Twitter to apologize to her neighbors for the noisy disturbance, writing, “I set off the fire alarm in my apartment trying to make dinner… Oops! Sorry neighbors.”

Underwood revealed last year that she was working on improving her cooking skills, saying, “I mean I try… I want to be that mom some day. ‘My mom makes the best fill-in-the-blank.’ I would love to be that, so I am working on it.”
