(Greenfield, MA) – The most famous trophy in sports comes to Greenfield this weekend. The Stanley Cup will be at the Collins-Moylan arena Sunday courtesy of Los Angeles Kings Head Trainer and Greenfield native Chris Kingsley. This is the second time in three seasons that Kingsley has had possession of Lord Stanley’s trophy, which last time around made a stop in the Boston suburb of Westford, where Kingsley lived during his time as a trainer at Cushing Academy. Sunday’s event will be a fundraiser for the Franklin County Hockey Association. A suggested $5 dollar donation gets you a picture with the cup. The event runs from 11 to 2 Sunday on what Mayor Bill Martin has declared “Chris Kingsley Day” in the town of Greenfield.
