(Springfield, MA) — The Springfield group Arise for Social Justice is demonstrating in solidarity with Ferguson, Missouri. Thursday people held signs at the corner of State and Federal while motorists honked in support. The group is protesting the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, and speaking out against the militarization of the police.
