(Southampton, MA)  —  A backyard chicken case is making its way through Hampshire Superior Court.  In 2012, Claire LeDuc of Southampton sued the town’s zoning board after it upheld an order to remove the chickens. LeDuc’s lawyer says the town’s zoning code does not prohibit chickens as an accessory use. The case is scheduled for an October trial.
