Author Joe McGinnis Passes Away

(Pelham, MA)  —  Author and reporter Joe McGinnis of Pelham has passed away at the age of 71 after battling prostate cancer.  McGinnis was the author of “Fatal Vision” about convicted killer Jeffrey MacDonald.  Early in his career he wrote “The Selling of the President 1968″ about Richard Nixon.  McGinnis also claimed notoriety for moving in next door to Sarah Palin to write an unauthorized biography.  McGinnis died Monday at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
