Man Injured in Easthampton Car Crash

(Easthampton, MA) – A 53-year-old Easthampton man is being treated for life-threatening head injuries after his van struck a utility pole in Easthampton overnight.  Police closed the road between Ferry Street and Route 5 as they investigate the cause of the 2:30 a.m. crash. and traffic was being rerouted.  Chang Joon Hwang, of of Easthampton  was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with injuries police describe as very serious.
