Coldplay sends fans on library scavenger hunt

LONDON (AP) — Here’s one way to get people to visit libraries: they’re looking for Coldplay lyrics.

The band has hidden singer Chris Martin’s handwritten lyrics for their upcoming album “Ghost Stories” in libraries around the world in books containing ghost stories.

They’ve been giving clues on the band’s Twitter account.

One envelope contains a golden ticket granting the finder and one guest a free trip to London to see Coldplay perform in July.

Four of the nine song lyrics have been found, in libraries in Barcelona, Mexico City, Singapore and Helsinki, Finland.

The “Ghost Stories” album comes out May 19.
